LEGO's TNG Crew Have (Almost) the Perfect Accessories

NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. I may be compensated for purchases made after clicking on links on this page.

The crew of the NCC-1701-D and all their favorite accessories have arrived at LEGO. Here's a look at the crew, what they come with, and additional accessories we'd love to see in future sets.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard with Tea, Earl Grey, Hot

iconWe would expect nothing less than for the good captain to have his cup of Earl Grey.

Additional versions and accessories we'd love to see:

  • A saddle and LEGO horse. "“It’s perfectly normal. You know, most, er, most serious riders do have their own saddles.”
  • His flute from "The Inner Light"
  • A Locutus variation with a Borg cube, or Borg alcove set.
  • A Dixon Hill variation complete with trench coat and fedora.

William T. Riker with A Trombone

Number One with a beard and a trombone is pretty much perfect.

Additional variations and accessories we'd love to see:

  • A Horgahn because, Riker.
  • A deck of cards and poker chips.
  • A frying pan for making omelettes scrambled eggs.
  • Anbo-jyutsu Riker, please.

Data with Spot

Everybody's favorite android with his favorite cat. Let's just hope they don't ship the Lore figurines by mistake.

Additional variations and accessories we'd love to see:
  • A violin
  • An easel and palette
  • Sherlock Holmes Data

iconicon

Worf with a Phaser

Yes, that's supposed to be a phaser. Somehow...it doesn't translate very well into LEGO world. But we'll go with it.

Additional accessories and variations we'd love to see:

  • A bat'leth, obviously.
  • A glass of prune juice, "a warriors drink."
  • A LEGO version of Word's ball chair.

iconicon

Deanna Troi with a PADD

Why does Deanna get the most generic of accessories? Admittedly there's not exactly a LEGO version of empathic powers, and she uses PADDs to schedule her professional appointments, but couldn't she get something a little more distinctive?

Additional accessories and variations we'd love to see:

  • A chocolate sundae.
  • A Betazoid gift box. Or maybe we don't want to remember that...
  • A 3-D chess set. She was good enough at chess to beat Data after all.
  • And maybe a variation in a standard uniform.

iconicon

Dr. Crusher with a Tricorder

Medical tricorder, I'm sure.

Additional accessories and variations we'd love to see:

  • The headset she wore that one time...
  • An incubator for scarlet moss.
  • The dance studio expansion set for her and Data to practice in.

iconicon

Geordi with an Engineering Case

Well he is the chief engineer. So he should have his case with him, I guess.

Additional accessories and variations we'd love to see:

iconicon

Guinan with...It is green...?

Pretty much perfect, except she didn't actually appear on-screen with the green bottle. But Data did say it was part of her special selection of beverages.

Additional accessories and variations we'd love to see:

  • Her giant gold phaser riffle, which she also keeps behind the bar.

iconicon

Wesley Crusher with his portable tractor beam

Is it too nerdy of me to point out that he built the tractor beam back when he was still wearing sweaters (not the tri-color uniform seen here)?

Additional accessories and variations we'd love to see:

  • A container of nanites. Just don't let them out. They will turn the whole world into a LEGO set.
  • A flower bed surrounded by a white fence.

See the full LEGO set for the NCC-1701-Dicon here.

What other characters from TNG would you like to see in a LEGO set?

Lt. Van Mayter, perhaps?
